Keentu

Fashion photography for an accessories store in West Village, New York

Founded by Eliza Richman, Keentu is known for its thoughtfully curated selection of jewelry, handbags, accessories, and objects made ethically and sustainably by artisans across Africa. The store handpicks pieces from across Africa that beautifully combine contemporary style, personality, and impeccable craftsmanship – made sustainably and ethically with premium materials by talented, masterful artisans.

It sources from more than forty small businesses that collectively employ more than four thousand people across the continent.

This fashion photoshoot for Keentu, with model Adelina Tereshchenkova, was conceived as a lifestyle-driven series rather than a traditional retail or in-store shoot. The goal was to present Keentu’s jewelry and accessories in a setting that feels natural, tactile, and connected to everyday life — allowing the pieces to exist beyond the confines of a boutique. Shot as an editorial fashion photography project, this series captures Keentu’s curatorial identity — celebrating individuality, craftsmanship, and a contemporary approach to personal style.
