Lechelle Petite

Fashion photoshoot in New York with model Ombelline for the fine jewelry brand Lechelle Petite. The brand carries earrings, bracelets, necklaces collections, made with the finest curated-gems & pearls from around the world.

This image series was created for Lechelle Petite, a fine jewellery atelier rooted in craftsmanship and artistic expression. Designed in Singapore, Lechelle Petite mixes romantic sensibilities with refined minimalism, creating wearable art that celebrates beauty, identity, and independence.

Founded by Michelle Joycelyn Tan, the brand began as a deeply personal exploration of jewellery — one that transformed from a creative hobby into a celebrated fine jewellery label. Tah’s design language embraces both heritage and modernity, with pieces that feel timeless while expressing a subtle touch of whimsy, strength, and feminine poise.

The photography reflects these qualities in an on-location fashion context — showcasing how Lechelle Petite’s curated jewellery interacts with personality, gesture, and movement. Far from a traditional studio shoot, this series emphasizes natural light and authentic presence, allowing each piece to frame character and mood rather than just form.

Many of Lechelle Petite’s collections are distinguished by their use of natural and luxury Japanese Akoya pearls, sourced through direct relationships with trusted suppliers in Japan’s Ise-Shima and Kobe regions — pearls prized for their lustre and individuality.

Shot as a fashion photography project, this series not only highlights the elegance of the jewellery but also captures the emotional resonance behind objects made to be worn and lived with — an intimate bridge between art, material, and personal style.
