Bond Street Loft
Interior photography of a Bond Street loft in NoHo, New York, photographed for Marie Claire Maison. A hotel-inspired loft blending architecture, art, and light.
Located in NoHo, Manhattan, this Bond Street loft was photographed for Marie Claire Maison and designed as a refined pied-à-terre within a historic cast-iron building. With nearly four-meter-high ceilings and large industrial windows, the space is flooded with natural light, highlighting the architectural volume typical of downtown New York lofts.
The renovation, led by architect David Howell’s studio, reimagines the apartment as a hotel-inspired suite, while preserving the fluid circulation and open feel of a classic loft. A sliding metal door allows the bedroom to open onto or disappear from the living area, offering flexibility and a subtle nod to the building’s industrial past.
Designed for art lovers and film enthusiasts, the living space is divided between a reception area and a dedicated home-cinema zone. Vintage furniture, contemporary artworks, and tactile materials — velvet, leather, wool, and silk — create a warm, intimate atmosphere within the raw architectural shell.
Photographed as an interior design project, the Bond Street Loft reflects a distinctly New York way of living, where architecture, art, and light come together in a timeless, editorial setting.
